Book Review - Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

Like most people who’ve read Ready Player One, I too burned through the book. In fact, it took me just one day to read through it. It’s a fun, easy read, that paints a picture of a dystopia so bad that people immerse themselves in Virtual Reality to escape. With big companies like Facebook and Sony pushing hard for VR, this book paints a stylized and extreme picture of what the world could turn into if VR becomes popular. It is thought provoking and did I mention it’s a breeze to read? While at times it can be pretty corny and convoluted, I’d still recommend it as a break from maybe some more intense reads.
